Tonight’s Blog March 25, 2013

Lord, please know that I am so honored to be a part of your Kingdom work. Tonight I praise YOU, LORD, for MCC, the folks who have been gently and kindly growing during our time to walk together. We chose to open our building to Homeschool kids, parents, and teachers to have a safe place to gather. In a few weeks, I get to teach a four-week class. LORD, help us to make the time valuable for the students who are a part of our time in class. Specifically, LORD, help me to be wise and gentle for YOU, and to be considerate of those in my class, and to be protective for the parents who trust us with their greatest treasure, their children.

Some of the topics we have discussed will include always protecting those who come into YOUR building. We want to set guidelines for adult/student interaction, to always have two adults in any situation. We want to keep our goal to fulfill Matthew 28:18-20, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

LORD, please give us wisdom this month to prepare our hearts and our questions to honor you. Since YOUR son, JESUS, came here and modeled perfectly the kind of growth that is possible, we will use the observation of HIS precious mom, Mary, as is recorded in Luke 2:52 as our guideline, if that is what you want! LORD, help us to know YOUR will and YOUR wisdom here. We are seeking your face. The way that JESUS grew can be modeled and can be taught, and can be understood. We also believe that we can ask questions, hold each other accountable, and know that we are in YOUR Will if we try to grow!

(Jesus grew in wisdom, LORD)   1. How can we know if we are growing in wisdom?

(Jesus grew in favor with YOU, GOD) 2. How can we know if we are growing in favor with God?

(Jesus grew in favor with people, LORD) 3. How can we know if we are growing in favor with people?

(Jesus grew to physical maturity, the perfect physical life) 4. How can we know if we are growing into physical maturity?
