pray for wisdom for our new challenges

When we moved to Rapid City, we cringed when folks said, "We are so excited for you and this new adventure that GOD has placed before you." Why did we cringe? We weren't sure we were through in Mattoon, and didn't feel that the door there had been shut by GOD. We weren't sure that the move to Rapid City was "an adventure from GOD." Nor did we think it was "punishment" for some perceived sin or weakness. When the door closed here in Rapid City, we dared to ask GOD, "Will you put us in a place where we can have an 'Adventure' for you, with kind people, and with good people and with people who want to grow?" As I post this on my blog, i am asking, "LORD, let me know, and give me your blessing of wisdom, of grace, and of protection as we seek YOUR will!"
